HUNTSVILLE, Al. (May 31, 2024) – Century 21 Real Estate LLC., a global industry leader and the most recognized name in real estate*, is proud to fortify its presence in Northern Alabama with its latest affiliation of a veteran-led group of real estate professionals based in Huntsville, now doing business as CENTURY 21 Home Team.
The start-up company is spearheaded by Shawn Guzman, a military veteran with 12 years of service in the Army Reserve, as well as nine years of service as a police officer, and five as a SWAT team member. Before Shawn was putting his life on the line for his community, he spent his early professional career in sales where he learned he was a natural communicator. In 2016 he left his career as a first responder behind in favor of a safer line of work – real estate. Shawn’s career change was met with immediate gratification, as he was quickly named Rookie Agent of the Year in 2017.
Joining Shawn in this venture is his wife Misty, who transitioned from nursing into real estate after the COVID-19 pandemic in order to spend more time with Shawn and their three children. Together, Shawn, Misty, and their affiliated sales professionals are proud to assist residents of Madison, Limestone, Morgan, Marshall and Jackson counties with all of their real estate needs.
Now doing business as CENTURY 21 Home Team, the Guzmans and their team of relentless affiliated sales professionals will have access to the CENTURY 21® brand’s world-class technology and marketing, lead generation, agent learning and coaching and innovative productivity platform to help deliver the highest quality of service to buyers, sellers and investors.
The Guzmans have already developed meticulous growth plans with these new assets in mind. They plan to attract and onboard a minimum of ten agents per year before eventually opening three additional offices in the next five years, specifically in Cullman, Fairhope and Gulf Shores.
