OMAHA (Dec. 29, 2025) – Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate The Good Life

markets, has acquired Don Peterson and Associates, one of Nebraska’s most
established real estate brokerages, in a move to fuel growth, expand service area and
increase market share in the greater Omaha metro area. With this announcement, the
combined operations include 10 offices and close to 400 affiliated sales associates.
Founded in 1956, Don Peterson and Associates is a multi-office brokerage with offices
in Fremont, West Point, Hartington and Tekamah. With a legacy built on trust, integrity
and unmatched expertise, the brokerage serves communities across Eastern Nebraska
through residential real estate, land development, commercial real estate and property
management.
The firm is led by Jennifer Bixby, who started her real estate career in 2006. In 2016,
she was appointed president and designated broker for Don Peterson & Associates
Real Estate. The firm will now do business as Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate
Don Peterson and Associates.
